Area Sales Manager- HVAC

£35,000pa (£45-50k OTE) + Car + Phone + Laptop + Healthcare + Pension
My Client is the exclusive UK distributor for one of Italy’s biggest manufacturers of water chillers and heat pumps. They have been established for nearly 30 years and are a specialist supplier of Water Chillers and cooling equipment for chilled water process and air conditioning applications. They offer a complete range of services covering not just sales but also service, hire and turnkey installations.
The role entails
- Selling into HVAC, M&E and refrigeration contractors, Facility Management providers, Engineering Houses and Consultants.
- Selling, promoting and getting our range of water chillers and heat pumps specified for air conditioning and industrial applications.
- A mixture of new business development leading to account management.
- You will be expected to spend 4 days a week visiting clients and working from home for the other day.
Experience
- UK business to business field sales in capital equipment to similar sectors.
- In order to succeed you need to have a Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or refrigeration qualification or to have gained sufficient knowledge through your career to date.
- Knowledge of London based consultants would be an advantage.

- Capable of identifying opportunities for new business and developing them into sales.
- Must have a methodical approach to problem solving, information gathering and selling.

- Team player able to utilize the resources available within the company to achieve results.
